Brennan has been shooting since the days in bathing suits in the neighborhood with friends. He graduated to yearbook in high school, and went on to study with Stephen Shore and Ben Lifson at Bard College. He survived working fulltime with Mark Seliger, and has been loosed on the world ever since. A few galleries have shown his work in New York, Philadelphia, and Memphis; and Esquire, Rolling Stone, The Source, O, Life, GQ, Magnet, and New York Magazine have taken it upon themselves to hire him. For a few years his work hung on almost every street in NYC (and most malls and Main Streets USA) as TMobile invaded store fronts with his campaign hung in their windows. The collage work, or 'collisions', gets his hands on hands-on work, and informs his in-camera collisions. His film work makes those collisions move.
